Konichiwa!

Wow I just realised that I haven't updated my journal entry in almost 2 months. So on a whim to revive myself I decided to write something to all you friendly deviants who drop by my account from time to time. When I read a manga I began to realise that a big chunk of my enthusiasm is attributed to the bit when the author writes something about himself/herself. This sort of thing is given as a side note during the manga itself or else at the end of a volume.Even though I don't know them personally it's intriguing to be updated on their daily life. Do you feel the same way? Or am I developing some kind of stalker-ish tendecies not even i'm in control of o___O'' Well what with twitter, digg, facebook and so many other social networks almost everyone informs other people about whats' going on in their life whether they like it or not. And that's exactly what I'm going to do!

As most of you are sadly aware of Summer is almost over and i'm estimating that i've got about 3 more weeks until school starts. So I guess I should put these last few precious days to good use. To kick off the week in a great way I came down with a cold u_____u there's a really lot of sickness going round these days and so it was kinda inevitable. This is probably the first time I got sick in Summer! And thanks to my ever lasting luck (yeah sure) i managed to miss the devvy meeting organized by maltese deviants!! But by the look's of it they had a really lot of fun and I'm happy for them ^__^

So being stuck inside gives me more chance to indulge in the lazy side of Summer such as reading manga. I was kinda undecided to on what to start reading first. I picked up D-Grayman first but when I realised it was on hiatus I started reading Hana Kimi instead. It's a light, funny read just what I need to get over my cold! I also watched Princess Mononoke and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. While Princess Monoke kinda let me down as I was expecting a better story line Nausicaa was simply amazing!! I really enjoyed every bit of it and have asked my cousin who is currently residing in London to buy me a copy of the dvd!! I also asked him to buy me any volume of FMA manga since they don't sell it in malta -__-'' Even though I follow up FMA online I thought it'd be cool to own a copy >__<

Btw ATTENTION TO ALL MALTESE DEVIANTS at the end of September there will be the very first COMIC CON in Malta! It's being held on the 31ST OCT, 1ST NOV. PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG. I'm trying to do some research for costumes and stuff so maybe I can cosplay I really wish I could go dressed in a sailor fuku!! But I think I'd scare everyone in the vicinity! Is anyone else dressing up? Please tell me I'd love to know!!
